World Environment Day
World Environment Day, (5 June)
Dear Parents,
Every year June 5 is observed as the World Environment by the United Nations. This
year INDIA has got a chance to host the World Environment Day and the theme for
this year is ‘Beat Plastic Pollution’.
In our letter dated 17 May, 2018 (point 5 and 6), we have requested parents help
children develop a habit of kitchen garden and be compassionate to the nature.
Please purchase/graft some plants and let the children look after them. Discuss that
how important trees and plants are for all living beings. We talk a lot about hot air
and high temperature but the answer is in planting and protection of trees.
Every year temperature is rising and water table is going down, let the children
think about it. There is no life without forest. Clean air and availability of water
is also possible because of forests. Let Jain Global School families pledge to reject the
use of plastic that cause pollution. Please don’t forget to share your photo/ video on
school what’s app group.
Hope each family will Excel! Shine! And ‘Keep Promise’.
Yours sincerely,
Team JGS
